For fun, for mystery, for diving deeper and deeper down the rabbit hole, and just here for whatever!
A webbed site dedicated to documenting what got left on "the cutting room floor" during development for various video games. Sources include left-over content left in the files of a release, ports, and entire builds from earlier in development.
The number one site on the web for where those early prototype game builds are often dug up or donated and then released.
Various translations for different region locked or poorly localised retro games can be found here! The website also hosts a patching tool for these translations and has a separate section for retro romhacks.
This is the largest place to watch, submit, and discover speedruns across a wide range of games.
The ability to listen to radio stations from across the globe all on one fun site. I especially enjoy Adachi City!
Part of why I enjoy the Adachi City radio station, Gotanno 89.2, so much is because this exists to give you the names of the songs and artists as they play! It's super useful.
A crucial resource for anyone in Aotearoa! This online dictionary can help you better understand the components and pronunciation of te reo Māori.
Originally beginning as a series of short snarky episode recaps of Star Trek: Voyager, these videos now provide both an episode recap and an in-depth, insightful, and snarky analysis of different Star Trek episodes by series. The series currently being trekked through is: Enterprise.
This website is the main hub for information on the reconstruction of cancelled Rare N64 project, Dinosaur Planet, which was retooled into Star Fox Adventures for the GameCube. In 2021, Hidden Palace (see link above) released a late 2000 prototype build of the game, from when the Star Fox rebrand had already begun. Using this fairly broken and incomplete build, the talented team behind this reconstruction have done a remarkable job of returning the game to a playable, completable state. The latest patch was released the 26th of January, 2025. Current development is focused on getting the recompiled version up to where the patched N64 rom is at. There's plenty of progress still to be made, but an immense amount of work has gone into restoring a remarkable game from a rather messy build.
